Malta Decorative Glass (MDG) 'Earthtones' Sandy Glass Chimney Vase

Description

A wonderful sandy + brown Maltese glass vase, by MDG (Malta Decorative Glass). The pattern is known as Earthtones. MDG was a company set up by the Maltese government, in collaboration with the Chinese government, in 1974, and involved Vicente Boffo, who previously worked at Mdina and Whitefriars. MDG was only in operation for a short time, 1974 - 1978.

Measures approx 6.5 inches tall by 4.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
