Jobling #5000 Art Deco Opalescent Glass Fircone Plate #3

Description

A wonderful art deco glass plate, made in opaline/opalescent glass. Made by British company Jobling in the 1930's, part of their 'Fircone' pattern range (catalogue number 5000). Featured in the book "A Collectors Guide to Jobling 1930's Decorative Glass", page 41. Jobling's opalescent glass was made to rival Lalique glassware, and the range was named Opalique. The British registered design number 777133 is embossed on the base.
