Carlo Moretti Satinato Blue Murano Glass Tall 18" Stem Vase

Description

This is a magnificent tall Venetian frosted blue glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. It was produced by Carlo Moretti, and is known as a "satinato" vase. Shown in the excellent book "Italian Glass - Century 20" by Leslie Pina, page 46.

Size

Measures approx 18 inches tall by 3.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a small nick and tiny split/fracture to the rim, just a couple of mm deep, shown in final picture.
