Galliano Ferro Murano Sommerso Red & Amber Glass Stem Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass stem vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy, and attributed to Galliano Ferro. In a stunning combination of ruby red glass cased in amber glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 10.25 inches tall by 3.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a couple of small nibbles to the top rim and base rim, shown in final pictures.
