Galliano Ferro Murano Sommerso Green & Blue Glass Stem Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass stem vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy, and attributed to Galliano Ferro. In a stunning combination of green glass cased in a band of blue glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 9.25 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a nibble to the base rim, and some internal water staining from use, all shown in final pictures.
