Murano/Sommerso 1950s Organic Red Glass Vase - Labelled

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Still bears a label to the base which says "G. E. V. Murano Glass, Made in Italy", I suspect this is the British importer label. In a stunning combination of ruby red glass cased in pale blue glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 5.75 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
