Salviati Zanfirico & Aventurine Pink Glass Plate

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass plate/dish, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Decorated with alternating stripes of white zanfirico lattice filigree trimmed in copper aventurine, and pink ribbons. Made by Salviati, similar items are shown in the book "Italian Glass - Century 20" by Leslie Pina, page 139.

Size

Measures approx 1.5 inches tall by 6.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a few manufacturing air bubbles in the glass as to be expected.
