Carlo Moretti Marbled Red & White Murano Glass Vase - Label

Description

This is a magnificent large and heavy (1.7 kilos unpacked) Venetian orangey red & white marbled glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. It was produced by Carlo Moretti, and similar items are shown in the excellent book "Italian Glass - Century 20" by Leslie Pina, page 49. Still bears the original factory label.

Size

Measures approx 12 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
