Salviati Copper Aventurine Glass Finger Bowl + Plate

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass finger bowl + plate set, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Decorated with copper aventurine stripes. Made by Salviati, similar items are shown in the book "Italian Glass - Century 20" by Leslie Pina, page 176.

Size

Plate measures approx. 1.5 inches tall by 7 inches in diameter at widest point.
Bowl measures approx. 3 inches tall by 5.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a burst manufacturing bubble to the underneath base edge of the plate, very hard to spot but a little rough to the touch. I tried to show this in the final picture.
