LARGE Art Deco Uranium Green Glass Nude Lady Figurine

Description

A wonderful large art deco frosted green glass 'seated lady' figurine.  Manufacturer unknown, thought to be Czech, but clearly based on the "stump lady" design by British maker Sowerby. Glows bright green in UV light, due to the presence of small amounts of uranium in the glass mixture.

Size

Measures approx 8.5 inches tall by 4.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has an area of restoration (chips ground out) and a chip to the top rim of the base, and a bruise mark to the bottom rim of the base, all shown in final pictures.
