Vetreria Artigiana Sanminiatello Empoli Marbled Orange & Grey Glass Vase

Description

A stunning large orange & grey marbled vase, made in the region of Empoli, near Florence, Italy. Attributed to Vetreria Artigiana Sanminiatello (V.A.S.), a glass factory in Montelupo, a few km from Empoli. The same shape and pattern are separately shown in pages of their factory catalogue. With a height of 12 inches (310 cm), the shape number would be F/205VS, shown [here], and the same pattern is shown in two pages of their factory catalogue, see [here] and [here] (Facebook group membership needed to view).

Size

Measures approx 12 inches tall by 7.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a small elongated air bubble to one side which has lost its surface, there from the manufacturing process, and shown in final picture.
