Salviati Murano Zanfirico & Aventurine Blue Glass Vintage Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass finger bowl/dish, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Decorated with alternating stripes of white zanfirico lattice filigree, and blue twisted ribbons trimmed in copper aventurine. Made by Salviati, similar items are shown in the book "Italian Glass - Century 20" by Leslie Pina, page 139.

Size

Measures approx 2.75 inches tall by 5.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
