Description
A huge, very heavy (2.6 kilos unpacked) Venetian organic glass sculpture bowl, made on the island of
Murano, near Venice, Italy. Most likely made by the
Cristallo Venezia CCC glassworks. Very similar pieces with the same star shaped base can be found online with labels that read

here. In a stunning combination of green glass cased in amber glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian
sommerso technique.
Size
Measures approx 5.25 inches tall by 21.5 inches in diameter at widest point.
Condition
No chips or cracks other than a tiny nick to the base rim, and a couple of small scuff marks to the top rim, all shown in final pictures.
