Loetz / Lötz Art Nouveau Antique Glass Candia Papillon Vase

Description

Here we have a beautiful small Austrian golden glass vase from the late 19th century art nouveau period. Has a stunning oily, iridescent finish. Made by Loetz, part of their "Candia Papillon" pattern range.

Please note: Although this vase is obviously too small to hold a bunch of flowers, it is still classed as a vase. Small vases like this were often used to hold flowerheads, or miniature "sweetpea" flowers, or simply used as decorative ornaments.

Measures approx 3.5 inches tall by 1.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
