Murano Style Blue & White Glass Vintage Sculpture Bowl

Description

Here is a magnificent 1950/60's freeform blue glass sculpture bowl. Although very Murano in style, I suspect this is of Spanish origin. It is unmarked, but I once had another piece from this range, that had a label which reads "P. Carrasco, FG". The name Carrasco sounds very Spanish, and similar sculptures were made by Spanish factory Viartec. This could be a rival factory making similar products, or it could have been a retailer label.

Measures approx 5 inches tall by 7.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a few minute fleabites to the base rim edge, probably from manufacturing when the base was ground flat.
