Romanian Vintage Retro Red, Blue & White Speckled Glass Vase

Description

A beautiful 1970's dark red, pale blue and white glass vase. Manufacturer unknown, but made in Romania, most likely one of two different factories, Pădurea Neagră or Tomeşti. Examples can be found online which have a "Made in Roumania" or "Made in Rumania" label. Both were used as the English spelling for Romania up until around 1975. This vase has a very worn foil label, on which the words "Hand Made by Craftsmen, Foreign" can just about be made out. These are almost always misdescribed as Murano or Czech when found on various online marketplace websites.

Measures approx 9 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just some mild staining inside the bottom from use.
