Galliano Ferro Murano Blue & Green Glass Bullicante Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful large flying saucer shaped 1950/60's Venetian glass bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This piece was made by Galliano Ferro, and brought into the UK by British importers Jaffe Rose.  In a stunning combination of blue glass with a green inner core, and a controlled bubble effect known as bullicante.

Size

Measures approx 2 inches tall by 6 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

No chips or cracks, just a few small surface scratches to the rim.
