Murano Smoky Black & Clear Glass Bird Sculpture - Labelled

Description

This is a magnificent Venetian smoky black + clear glass bird sculpture, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Factory unknown, it bears the original generic label to the base, which simply reads "Made in Murano, Italy".

Size

Measures approx 4.5 inches tall by 3.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a manufacturing blemish to the side, looks like a couple of intact air bubbles very close to the surface. Hard to capture on camera, but I have tried to show it in the final picture.
