Murano / Venetian Red & Blue Retro Glass Swan Sculpture

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass swan sculpture, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy.  In a stunning combination of red and blue glass encased in clear glass.

Size

Measures approx 8.25 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has some minor roughness to one side of the face from manufacture, and what looks like a smooth nibble to the base which I think is a remnant from the pontil mark, as it goes underneath the applied base section, see final picture.
