MARKED Gambaro & Poggi Murano Gold Leaf Glass Fish Sculpture

Description

This is a magnificent large and very heavy (2.1kg unpacked) Venetian sculptural glass fish, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Consists of green & clear glass filled with gold leaf inclusions. Made by Gambaro & Poggi factory mark to base, and still bears the original factory label, which reads "Vetreria Artistica Gambaro & Poggi, Murano, Made in Italy".

Measures approx 6 inches tall by 6.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
