LABELLED Archimede Seguso Murano Incalmo Millefiori Pink Glass Bowl

Description

This is a magnificent 1950/60's Venetian sculptural glass kidney shaped bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of pink and clear glass, which is fused together using the incalmo technique.  The clear section is filled with large colourful millefiori murrine canes.  This bowl was made by Archimede Seguso, and still bears the remains of their scalloped factory label (very worn).

Measures approx 2.25 inches tall by 4.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
