Mandruzzato Murano/Sommerso Textured Green Glass Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass bowl / ashtray, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This design was made by Mandruzzato, and possibly other factories. In a stunning combination of green glass cased in a band of amber glass, which is further encased in a part angular, part bark textured block of clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 3 inches tall by 5.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, other than a few tiny fleabites to the faceted edge, shown in final pictures.
