Murano Pink & Blue Sommerso Glass Vintage Geode Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass 'geode' bowl/dish, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. These bowls were made by several manufacturers, including Archimede Seguso and Cenedese. In a stunning combination of pink glass cased in blue glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.
