Seguso Dalla Venezia Murano Sommerso Glass Geode Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass 'geode' bowl/dish, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This piece was made by Seguso Dalla Venezia and still bears the original factory label. In a stunning combination of deep blue glass cased in a band of paler blue glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Measures approx 1.25 inches tall by 3.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
