Cristallo Venezia Murano Green & Amber Sommerso Glass Vintage Bowl

Description

A Venetian organic glass sculpture bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Most likely made by the Cristallo Venezia CCC glassworks. Very similar pieces with the same star shaped base can be found online with labels that read "Cristallo Venezia, CCC". In a stunning combination of green glass encased in pale amber glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 4.5 inches tall by 8.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a couple of tiny nicks to a couple of the rim "prongs", shown in final pictures.
