Murano / Venetian Blue & Amber Sommerso Glass Swan Sculpture

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass swan or duck sculpture, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy.  In a stunning combination of blue glass cased in amber glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 7.75 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
