Murano Faceted Green, Amber & Blue Sommerso Glass Block Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass posy vase / bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This style of glassware is usually attributed to Mandruzzato, although other manufacturers have made similar items, including Oball, Campanella and V. Nason. In a stunning combination of green glass cased in a band of amber glass, which is further encased in an angular block of pale blue glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 3 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a couple of fleabites to the rim and one side edge, shown in final pictures.
