Arte Nuova Pustetto & Zanetti Murano Gold Leaf Bubble Glass Bowl

Description

A pink and clear glass ashtray bowl, with gold leaf inclusions, controlled bubble pattern, and vertical ribbing, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy.  Still bears the original factory label which reads "Arte Nuova Murano, Pustetto & Zanetti, Made in Italy". The factory was open only for a relatively short time, from 1954 to 1965. The design is very similar to one by Barovier & Toso, leading to speculation that the design could have been copied from, or supplied by B&T.

Measures approx 2.25 inches tall by 4.25 inches in diameter at widest point.
