Description

A Ferro Italarts glass ashtray bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Still bears the original label which reads "Genuine Murano Glass, Ferro Italarts, Made in Italy". Consists of cream and white glass encased in clear glass, decorated with silver leaf, white lattice zanfirico strands, and multicoloured twisted ribbon canes. Very similar to the Bizantino range made by AVEM (Arte Vetraria Muranese).
