Selezione IVV Italian Textured Orange Glass Bark Tumbler

Description

A beautiful tangerine orange & clear glass textured bark tumbler. Can be found with labels that read "Selezione IVV, Made in Italy". "Selezione" is Italian for "selection", probably a brand or range name, and "IVV" are the initials of the glass factory Industria Vetraria Valdarnese, established in Tuscany, Italy, in 1952. Often mistaken for Whitefriars, and likely a copy of their bark textured drinking glasses. Examples with Italian labels can be seen in a Whitefriars facebook group here.
