Gullaskruf Swedish Blue Glass 5.25" Vase - Arthur Percy 1952

Description

A stunning Scandinavian smoky blue grey glass 'blomglas' bottle vase. Made by Gullaskruf of Sweden, and designed by Arthur Percy in 1952. These vases can be seen in the book "Scandinavian Glass - Fire & Sea" by Leslie Pina, pages 16 - 19. Similar designs were also made by Elme and Aseda, but from the flared shape of the neck, and the colour, I am confident this is a Gullaskruf piece.

Size

Measures approx 5.25 inches tall by 2.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just some minor internal staining from use.
