SIGNED W Johanson Orrefors Sea Glasbruk Glass Coquille Vase

Description

A beautiful pink & white Swedish glass sculpture vase, very much in the style of the Flygsfors Coquille range by Paul Kedelv, but this piece is signed to the base W Johanson, Orrefors. An interesting piece this, looks like Flygsfors, signed Orrefors, but most likely made by Sea Glasbruk, which is part of the Kosta Boda group! A little digging reveals that W Johanson was a glass retailer who sourced from several Swedish factories, and signed them with his name and the town he lived in (Orrefors). Much of his glassware was from the Sea Glasbruk factory, who were known to make pieces like this in such similar style to Flygsfors.

Measures approx 11 inches tall by 4.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
