Chance Bros Orange Glass Canterbury Plate/Dish 1971

Description

A beautiful retro glass 'pear' or 'teardrop' shaped dish with orange 'Canterbury' pattern. Made by the British firm Chance Brothers, this pattern was introduced in 1971. Shown in the excellent book Chance Expressions by David P. Encill, page 65.

Size

Measures approx 1.25 inches tall by 11.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a couple of scratches to the decoration.
