Description

A wonderful 1890's Victorian Stourbridge glass miniature rose bowl / posy vase. Made in pink + creamy yellow burmese glass, most likely by the British firm Thomas Webb & Sons. Small amounts of uranium in the glass cause it to glow bright green in UV light.

Please note:  Although this vase is obviously too small to hold a bunch of flowers, it is still classed as a vase.  Small vases like this were often used to hold flowerheads, or miniature "sweetpea" flowers, or simply used as decorative ornaments.

Size

Measures approx 2.5 inches tall by 2.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
