SIGNED Vasart Large Blue & Green Glass Whorls Bowl B029

Description

A large and heavy (1.7kg unpacked) British blue & green mottled glass bowl with whorls pattern. Made by Vasart glass manufacturers of Scotland, circa 1946 - 1956, signed to base. Pattern number B029.

Size

Measures approx 3 inches tall by 11 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just an intact (not burst) manufacturing air bubble, with a little black ash inside, and a really faint small bruise mark on the base, all shown in final pictures. The bruise is dead centre of the 9th picture. Difficult to see and probably not really worth mentioning, but I like to be accurate.
