Borske Sklo 1950's Amber Glass Optical 'Olives' Vase

Description

A stunning small Czech amber glass optical mould blown vase with 'Olives' design. Made by the Borske Sklo glassworks in the 1950's/60's. Similar items are shown in the book "Hi Sklo Lo Sklo" by Mark Hill, pages 68 & 69.

Please note: Although this vase is obviously too small to hold a bunch of flowers, it is still classed as a vase. Small vases like this were often used to hold flower heads, or miniature "sweetpea" flowers, or simply used as decorative ornaments.

Size

Measures approx 4 inches tall by 3.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
