Harrachov Czech White Lattice Glass 'Harrtil' Bowl

Description

A wonderful, heavy (1.5 kilos unpacked) Czech white and clear organic glass bowl or ashtray with 'Harrtil' lattice pattern. Made by the Harrachov glassworks, similar pieces are shown in the book "Hi Sklo Lo Sklo" by Mark Hill, page 57. According to the book, the Harrtil pattern was designed by Milos Pulpitel in 1955, and the shapes were designed by Milan Metelak, Milena Veliskova or Marie Stahlikova in the late 1950's.

Size

Measures approx 4 inches tall by 5.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a couple of small scratches.
