Skrdlovice #5199 Czech Blue & Green Glass Bowl by Jan Beránek

Description

A stunning, heavy Czech blue + green glass bowl. Made by the Skrdlovice glassworks, designed by Jan Beránek in 1951, pattern number 5199. This piece is shown in the original Skrdlovice pattern book drawings, see last image (with kind permission, and copyright of Jindřich Pařík www.CzechGlassGuide.cz). Very similar to the 'Andromeda" range by Jaroslav Beránek, but the size does not match.

Size

Measures approx 3.25 inches tall by 7.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
