A stunning Czech pink and blue glass basket shaped sculpture bowl. Made by the Skrdlovice glassworks, designed by Jan Beránek in 1951, pattern number 51100. This piece is shown in the original Skrdlovice pattern book drawings, see last image (with kind permission, and copyright of Jindřich Pařík www.CzechGlassGuide.cz).

Size

Measures approx 6.5 inches tall by 7 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a couple of small surface scratches, and a couple of tiny black specks in the glass, from the manufacturing process.
