AVEM Murano Vintage Zanfirico & Aventurine Glass Paperweight

Description

Here is an exquisite small 1950/60's Venetian glass paperweight, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Attributed to AVEM (Arte Vetraria Muranese), and decorated with copper aventurine, white zanfirico lattice filigree, and multicoloured twisted ribbon canes.

Measures approx 2 inches tall by 2 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a tiny fleabite to the edge of the base rim, shown in final picture.
