Carlo Moretti Marbled Green & White Murano Glass Paperweight

Description

This is a magnificent Venetian turquoise green & white marbled glass paperweight, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. It was produced by Carlo Moretti, and similar items are shown in the excellent book "Italian Glass - Century 20" by Leslie Pina, page 49. Still bears the original factory label.

Measures approx 3 inches tall by 2.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
