Galliano Ferro Murano Uranium Red Glass Bullicante Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass bowl / ashtray, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This piece was made by Galliano Ferro, and brought into the UK by British importers Jaffe Rose. In a stunning combination of uranium yellow green glass with a red base and a controlled bubble effect known as 'bullicante'. Glows bright green in UV light.

Measures approx 2 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a couple of tiny surface scratches to the rim, and some minor wear to the inside from use.
