Victorian Antique Vaseline/Uranium Opalescent Glass Bowl

Description

A stunning Victorian 1890's glass posy bowl with crimped rim. Made in vaseline/uranium yellow glass, which glows bright green in UV light!  Also has criss cross "quilt pattern" diagonal white opalescent stripes, and concave polished pontil mark to the base. Most likely made by one of the British glass factories from the Stourbridge area of England, such as John Walsh Walsh, Richardson or Thomas Webb.

Measures approx 2.75 inches tall by 4.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
