Japanese Vintage Blue & Opal White Cased Glass Handkerchief Vase

Description

A stunning blue cased glass handkerchief style vase with inner white casing. Made in Japan, probably around the 1970's. Can be found in the US with labels that read "Kreiss Corporation, Handmade in Japan". Kreiss was the name of the US importer. The name of the UK importer, or the Japanese factory that made these, is currently unknown. Reference [click here].

Measures approx 6 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a small nibble to one corner of the base rim, and a couple of manufacturing flaws: couple of blobs of extra glass to the top rim, and a couple of horizontal streaks to the inside layer of glass. All shown in final pictures.
