Borske Sklo Glass 'Nemo' Globe Vase by Max Kannegiesser

Description

A stunning large Czech clear glass optical mould blown globe vase with a coloured olives design called 'Nemo'. Made by the Borske Sklo glassworks in the 1950's/60's, and designed by Max Kannegiesser. Similar items are shown in the book "Hi Sklo Lo Sklo" by Mark Hill, pages 136 & 137.

Size

Measures approx 7 inches tall by 7 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. As is usually the case with these, there is some very minor wear to a couple of the coloured spots, shown in final picture.
