Description

A beautiful large pink glass 'cylinder' vase with gold and silver leaf inclusions, designed by Michael Harris in collaboration with William Walker in 1978, for his renowned British glassworks Isle of Wight Studio, part of the Azurene pattern range. Bears the factory mark to the base, and the original factory label to the side.

Size

Measures approx 8.5 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a manufacturing flaw to the inside wall - a thin and slightly lumpy drizzle of glass from when the glass was hot during manufacture, shown in final picture. Also mentioned for accuracy, there is a faint ring of water staining to the inside about 2 inches down from the rim, only visible when held up to the light.
