Davidson Victorian Blue Pearline Glass 'Brideshead' Basket Bowl

Description

A wonderful Victorian blue glass basket shaped bowl or posy vase with white pearline rim. Made by British company Davidson around 1900, part of their Blue Pearline range, the pattern name is '643 Suite' (design registration numbers 130641 to 130643). This piece has the design number 130643 impressed to one side. The pattern is known as 'Brideshead' by American collectors.

Size

Measures approx 4.25 inches tall by 6.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a nibble to the base, and a small manufacturing "straw mark" to one of the top handles, common with these items. All shown in final pictures.
