Murano Blue & Amber Cased Glass Vintage Sculpture Bowl

Description

A Venetian organic glass sculpture bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of blue glass encased in amber glass. Still bears the original Hans Geismar import label (very worn) which reads "HG, Venetian Art Glass".

Size

Measures approx 6 inches tall by 10.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

No chips or cracks other than a nibble to the base rim, and an area just to the side of the base rim, smooth and highly polished but a little mis-shaped/flattened, possibly the result of minor restoration, or maybe just the way it was made. All shown in final pictures.
