Welz Czech Art Deco Orange & White Tango Glass Vase

Description

A superb 1930's Czech / Bohemian orange blown glass vase with applied white glass rim. Made by Franz Welz. This shape is confirmed as Welz in the Welz Facebook group. Ref: [click here] (must be a member to view). Known as "mono-coloured" or "tango" glass, this technique was developed by Loetz around 1914.

Measures approx 8.25 inches tall by 4.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
