Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass cockerel sculpture, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of purple glass cased in pale blue glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique. Still bears the original Hans Geismar Venetian Glass import label (worn).

Size

Measures approx 8.5 inches tall by 4.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
